Souless.

Funny Story. Like most of mine :D

So I've been watching this tv show on my recently purchased NetFlix. It's called Dead Like Me. And in case you haven't watched it here's what its basically about:

A 19/20 year old drop out college student living with parents gets killed in the first episode. She doesn't really believe in heaven OR hell so instead of going to either she becomes a Grim Reaper (of which there are many, she's not like the ultimate). Every day she gets a new assignment from her "boss," a Grim Reaper older than her, and thats the person who's soul she has to take right before they die by touching them even just slightly and then let it go to heaven. They look like ordinary people to everyone around them, they're not creepy. The whole show just has my dark sense of humor.

Now that we got that out of the way.

The other day I go to Barnes and Nobles to check and see if they have the two books i need to read for school so i can come back the next day and buy them. I've got about 10-15 minutes before my work which is right down the street (this is the one by the Promenade Mall, by my work) so im in no hurry. As i walk in i notice a woman because she's dressed out of the ordinary, very formal in a military kinda way. Dark blue suit and hat that were very uniformish. I don't think much of it, check and they do have my books and i get in my car and head off to work.

Now it gets interesting. The street i drive from Barnes and Nobles to work is a street that basically is just a big circle around the mall and thats its only purpose. It's not like a main street. So i get about 20 feet out of the parking lot of B&N and a fifty feet ahead of me watch a truck pull out in front of a jeep with not even close to enough time to make it and watch a head on collision take place. I'm pretty sure everyone survived but needless to say it shook me up a bit. If i was literally 20 feet further i would've completely been involved.

So the next day i go back to B&N to get the books and as i'm leaving the same lady in the blue suit stops me by the door and says you were here yesterday weren't you? And i said yeah i had to grab books for my class and i wanted to make sure they had them. and SHE TOUCHED ME and said have a nice day thereby STEALING MY SOUL!!

Since then i have almost gotten into 3 accidents, none of which were my fault. And i called Breea immediately after this in the parking lot, explained it all to her and she just told me i watch too much television. BUT SERIOUSLY PEOPLE! SHE STOLE MY EFFING SOUL!
